One board, split in two
You play in the upper half; your opponent plays below. The line between you is the border of your territory.
One board. Two players. A moving border.
You play in the top half. Your opponent plays below. Complete lines to push the border down, claim more room, and squeeze their side of the board.
Falling blocks and full lines are only the beginning. Both players share one board, and every cleared line changes how much room each side has.

Fit falling blocks together without gaps. Fill a row and it clears, moving the shared border.
Every line you clear pushes the border down: more room for you, less room for your opponent.
Your opponent's lines push the border back up and squeeze your side. Keep clearing lines before you run out of space.

The goal is familiar: complete full rows. The twist is that every line is also an attack. A good streak gives you room; your opponent's streak puts you under pressure.
Practice against AI, then face a real player and fight for every line.
